Our Daily Schedule 

Weekly plans are designed based upon a variety of factors, including a required number of instructional minutes, the students' specials schedule, guests or special events, etc.  I adjust lessons and times as needed for the benefit of my students, whether it be for "teachable moments", or "dynamic diversions"! We take ample brain and/or movement breaks and make time for choice and social opportunites daily. Our snacks will be during the afternoons. Recess is at 11:30 and lunch is at noon. 

Our learning days move at a steady and predictable pace. We begin each day with a greeting time that supports Social/Emotional skill development and helps grow and maintain positive relationships in our school community. Our daily schedule is posted for the students and reviewed frequently throughout the day. 

MONDAY   We will typically have all English/Language Arts lessons in the monrnings, with Math and Science/Social Studies (These lessons share an instructional period, and I adjust plans accordingly. Some weeks we may have 2 days of Science and 2 of Social Studies and a session of STEAM or Tech; some weeks may be all science.....)

TUESDAY  We will typically have all English/Language Arts lessons, as well as Math during the morning. Science/Social Studies will be during the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY  All ELA and Math are conducted during the morning; Science/Social Studies are during the afternoon.

THURSDAY   We typically have Interactive ELA and Reading in the morning, with writing, math and science or social studies in the afternoon.

FRIDAY  We typically have Interactive ELA and Reading in the morning, with writing, math and science or social studies in the afternoon.
